FWISD

Who We Are

This secondary (6th - 12th) School of Choice is the first FWISD multilingual school that provides a focus for students who are interested in pursuing a rigorous academic program that includes options to complete one or more endorsements, as well as CTE pathways such as Business Management and Computer Science (Project Lead the Way Computer Science). We are also the only FWISD campus approved for Project Lead The Way Computer Science.

Courses We Offer

All WLI courses are advanced. Our campus is driven to foster not only success but excellence in our students. Only Honors, Accelerated, Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, and Dual Enrollment (OnRamps) classes are offered and taught by G/T Certified teachers. Students may start or continue the study of Spanish and English by taking courses in both languages. Students have the opportunity to begin the study of a third or fourth language. Options include American Sign Language, Mandarin Chinese, French, Italian and Japanese.

Activities We Offer

Students may participate in a variety of after school clubs, including joining our school's After School program, Chess clubs, board game and tabletop games club, College and Career Readiness class, E-sports, Creative Writing, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer and Flag Football.* Students will have the opportunity to earn the State Seal of Bilingualism/Biliteracy, and opportunities to travel abroad or host students from other countries. Choices applications accepted for grade 6-10.
