Message From Our PTO President
My name is Rocío García and I am excited to serve as your PTO President! My two oldest children attend WLI. The oldest is an 11th grader and my other son is an 8th grader. My daughter is a 3rd grader at an elementary school in FWISD.
Besides being a mother to these amazing children, I am also an educator. I have taught for 16 years as an elementary dual language teacher. All 16 years have been in the Fort Worth ISD.
I look forward to working with our community to support our students and staff at WLI.
¡Hola! Mi nombre es Rocío García, y es un honor servir como presidenta del PTO. Mis dos hijos mayores asisten WLI, uno está en 11º grado y el otro en 8º. Mi hija menor está en 3 grado en una escuela primaria aquí en FWISD.
Además de ser una madre orgullosa, también soy educadora con 16 años de experiencia como maestra bilingüe de primaria, todos ellos en Fort Worth ISD.
Me ilusiona trabajar con nuestra comunidad para apoyar a nuestros estudiantes y el personal del Instituto de Idiomas del Mundo.
