Beatrice Rivera
Assistant Principal
Hello! My name is Beatrice Rivera, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at the World Languages Institute. My family’s roots are in Ecuador, but I was born and raised right here in the Metroplex, and I am proud to call North Texas home.
My journey in education began as a bilingual teacher, where I had the privilege of serving students and families for 11 years. I then transitioned into educational administration, and this year marks my 9th year in administration. Throughout my career, my passion has remained the same: supporting students, empowering educators, and helping create school communities where everyone feels valued and has the opportunity to thrive.
I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Texas Christian University (TCU).
Outside of school, I am a proud wife and mom. My husband, Leon, is a chef, and our daughter is a sophomore. My family is a very important part of who I am, and I cherish the time we spend together.
It is truly an honor to be part of the WLI community. I know how special this school is, and that specialness comes from the people who make it what it is every day—our students, families, community, and dedicated staff.
