Mrs. Stella Herrera

High School Counselor

My name is Stella Herrera and I am happy to continue to serve as the High School Counselor at WLI. I have served in education for over 20 years with 15 of those in Fort Worth ISD. I have had the pleasure of serving in a variety of capacities from general ed teacher, special ed teacher, school counselor, and in administration.  I am fluent in English and Spanish and am in the process of trying to learn Italian.

In my spare time, I enjoy the great outdoors, going on road trips, visiting national parks, music in all its forms, and spending time with my husband, José Antonio.

I look forward to working with our high school scholars and their families to make the 2024-2025 school year a success!
